Again according to Time, fathers spend only about two-fifths as much time with their children as do the mothers, according to three independent surveys.
Now here’s the fact that shocks me – and to which knowing mothers everywhere will attest – researchers have found no single child-rearing task for which fathers bear primary responsibility.
There’s something screamingly, horribly, terribly wrong here.
First, an attitude shift is required. Fathering is not a part-time job. It is full time, both in attitude and in hands-on application.
To paraphrase Margaret Mead, “the future of society rests on the learned nurturing behavior of its men.” Get involved with the nurturing of your children. This includes bathing, feeding, transporting, and all the events of their lives.
Remember that fathering is a process not an event. A process requires time.
Consider how you were fathered. What do you want to do differently and what do you want to do the same?
If you have a child or children, then your challenge is to truly father your children, to be a father in the truest sense of the word.

Indeed humans have a superiority complex when it comes to their belief systems of where they belong on the animal kingdom chart with regard to the need to place themselves into a separate category. In fact superiority complexes are known throughout the animal kingdom in individuals of any given species, which is exhibited in pecking order contests and can be seen in individual personalities in animals.
But why is it that humans with their large brains often cannot reason their way out of such a dilemma? Why can?t they just admit that they too are merely animals instead of inventing reasons why they are not animals, by degrading other species and saying that they are nothing compared to humans? After all a tiger is much more adapted to his environment than we are in our created environment and huge civilizations.
It is almost as if mankind is still adapting to the environment he re-created and the animal inside each human is struggling to catch up.

You may have heard the same story about used golf balls. I heard this from a friend shortly after I took up golfing, probably as a means of warning me to beware.

He told me that he was on the first tee of a golf course with a particularly long par 4 which required a driver for any chance of getting on the green in two. He hit a marvelous shot that soared out over 200 yards (so he said!). He noted where the ball landed and set off down the fairway after his partner had played a not too great first shot.
His partner played then they both set off the other 75 yards to his own ball.
